Lacken Strand Races

The Lacken Strand Races is an annual horse racing event take place every year in May. Children will be very entertained with Children's Athletics, Children's Amusements, Bouncing Castles, Slides, Cup and Saucer Races. Also includes Sukie racing.

The Bonniconlon Show and Gymkhana

The Annual Bonniconlon Agricultural Show and Gymkhana takes place every August Bank Holiday Monday. There are classes for bloodstock, livestock, farm & garden produce, cookery, arts and crafts.

The Crossmolina Show
The annual Crossmolina Agricultural & Industrial Show is taking place at Ballyhamuck (Crossmolina) on a Saturday at the end of July. There is £15,000 in Prize Money and 20 Valuable Cups to be won. There are classes For cattle, horses, ponies, sheep, donkeys, home industries, photography, cookery & crafts.  Extra classes in Vintage section

The Enniscrone Show

The Annual Enniscrone Show is taking place on a Saturday at the end of August.  There are classes for cattle, sheep, horses, cookery, horticulture, arts and crafts, photography, dog show, sheaf tossing, craft demo and many other events.  Exclusive model village on show, by popular demand. Show dance is in the Castlearms Hotel with the show queen.

Ballina Agricultural & Horse Show- 75th year

Agricultural show: 10th July 2011

Ballina Agricultural & Horse Show: Showing classes in cattle, horses, ponies, sheep, goats, donkeys, dogs, cookery, photography, flowers, horticulture, crafts, junior section and poultry.  Entertainment for all the family throuhgout the day including music. Ballina Agricultural & Horse Show is now the second largest in Ireland.  This year the Show will host two days of Champion Show Jumping.
