Ballina Salmon Festival dates back to the early 60s and was revived in 1990 and has since gone from strength to strength to become one of the most vibrant and diverse festivals in Ireland today. Each summer it attracts around 150,000 people from all over the world
It is a family-orientated festival giving ten days of fun-filled artistic and cultural events catering for all age groups putting smiles on faces from the very young to the very young at heart and everyone in between.
Children’s events will include workshops, arts & literature, puppet shows, science & engineering workshops, not forgetting the Teddy bears picnic, a family day not to be missed.
The Lady of the Moy is a night of glitz and glamour.
