The well-loved North Mayo festival returns with a jam-packed programme

The Crossmolina Homecoming Festival is back this year with the emphasis on welcoming back old friends and family, this family-focused, community-run festival promises more events than ever. The festival runs from Wednesday 18th to Sunday 22nd July 2018 and caters for people of all ages. From fun sports and games for the children, and comedy and country nights for teenagers and adults, there is fun for everyone and this is a local festival not to be missed!

Kids Sand Art Magic: Free, Festival Event, numbers limited, call Gerry on 086 8127004, 2 pm slot is virtually full, places available at 2:30pm, 3pm & 3:30pm

Danceblast Dance Workshop: Free, Festival Event, No registration, no limit on numbers

Hair & Makeup Masterclass: Festival Event, Tickets €5 available at Heather Lynott Hairdressing or on the door – there are now only 20 tickets left which qualify for the Free Moroccan Oil Hamper Pack

Puppet Show: Free, Mayo Co. Library Event, Register with Maureen in the library, 096 31939

Animal Roadshow: Free Festival Event, No registration, Free, come along anytime between 1pm and 4:30pm

Marc Roberts – Homecoming concert will take place on Thursday 19th July, and tickets are currently on sale in Hiney’s Londis, O’Donnell’s Centra, Mulhern’s Gala and Ticketmaster.

The Festival for 2018 is seeing somewhat of a revamp with lots of new events and old favourites in the mix.  Events will include concerts, children’s events, free events, a youth focused event but to name a few.  Watch this space for more info in the coming weeks, but to whet your appetite below is a video from last year’s Sharon Shannon Concert.
