  • The Jackie Clarke Collection – Free Easter Family Fun Day

Saturday 31st March, 2pm – 4pm

There’s lots of fun to be had at the Jackie Clarke Collection, Pearse Street, Ballina at their annual Easter fun day.  Come along from 2pm – 4pm enjoy egg painting, arts and crafts, a fantastic treasure hunt, face painting and much much more.

  • Ballycroy National Park – Free Easter Activities

1st – 6th of April

With Easter fast approaching the Ballycroy National Park will play host to a variety of events over the holiday week. The will have guided walks at the visitor centre and at our other walk, Claggan Mountain. As well as hosting their annual treasure hunt, they will also have two Plover Clubs (children’s activity event) taking place.

  • Easter Bunny Train – Belleek Woods

April 1st & 2nd from 2pm – 5pm

Ballina Salmon Festival’s annual Easter Bunny Train will run through Belleek Woods on Easter Sunday 1st April and Easter Monday 2nd April from 2-5pm each day. Meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy a fun day out in beautiful Belleek Woods. All proceeds to Ballina Salmon Festival 2018. €2 per person.

  • Dromore West – Springfest

March 30th to April 2nd

Lots of fun activities are planned for Springfest, starting on Friday 30th March right through to Easter Monday 2nd April.  Activities include family picnic, arts and crafts, workshops and finishing with a fabulous new event for the kids – Little Farmers and Fairies Tractor Run.

  • Ballina Costume Company  – Easter Craft Camp

April 3rd to 6th

The second of Ballina Costume Company’s hugely popular Easter Camps takes place from April 3rd to 6th in the Sean Duffy Centre, Ardnaree for children aged 4 – 13 years old.

Booking essential – please call the Ballina Costume Company on 096-72154. Children are advised to bring old clothes and bring a packed lunch!

  • Easter Camp – Foxford Sport and Leisure Centre

Tuesday 27th, Friday 30th, Tuesday 3rd and Friday 6th

A fun packed Easter activities camp takes place in Foxford Sports and Leisure Centre over the Easter break, activities include arts and crafts, outside fun, movies, sports, obstacle course and much more.  The cost is €5 per child, booking is essential as places are limited.

  • Turlough Museum of Country Life – Are you an April Fool event

Sunday 1st April 2pm – 5pm

Take the April Fool’s challenge and explore the Museum’s collection with our fun family trail. Can you figure out what is true and what is false?  No booking required.

Turlough Community Easter Fun Day 

Monday 2nd  April 2pm – 5pm

Taking place in the Museum of Country and life, lots of fun activities including balloon art, crafts, stalls, petting farm, face painting and much more.  Easter egg hunt on the day €5 per child register early in the day, places limited.

  • Foxford Woollen Mills – Children’s Workshops

Monday 2nd April 

Cut, glue and create your own Easter basket, make a pom-pom chicken to keep safely in its own little egg!
After all that crafting, the Easter Hunt begins through the Foxford store and garden with lots of treats to take home in your basket.

Workshop 1: 10.30am – 12.30 pm
Workshop 2: 1.30 pm – 3.30 pm
