Killala Live Music festival with take place in the historical village of Killala, Co. Mayo from the 17th to the 21st of August 2016. Musical acts include Irish Country Stars Stuart Moyles, John Brady, Michael English and Derek Ryan, and other events such as the famous Monster Bingo will contribute to the air of celebration in the town.
This year all live music will take place in Killala Community Centre, which has very recently been fitted with brand new acoustic drapes that will make the sound in the venue second to none. So lace up those shoes and get the glad rags on for some social dancing and what will be a fantastic few days of music and craic!
Wednesday August 17th – The festival week kicks off with Monster Bingo. Starts 8.30pm in Killala Community Centre. Books sold on entry
Thursday August 18th, Killala Community Centre – Derek Ryan and Band with support Stuart Moyles. Doors open at 9pm, Admission €15 on arrival. Late Bar until 2am. Large crowd expected, so get there early!
Friday August 19th, Killala Community Centre – The Good Hustle Band – This award-winning, lively energetic six-piece band will have you on the floor all night! Playing hits right through from the 60s to present, their infectious tunes and feel-good energy will leave you on a high for the week. Doors open 11pm, Admission €10 on arrival. Late Bar
Saturday August 20th, Killala Community Centre – Michael English & Band. This stalwart of the Irish country music scene needs no introduction. Get there early for a cracking Saturday night out – there is sure to be a full house. Doors 10pm, admission €15 on arrival. Late bar.
Sunday August 21st, Killala Community Centre – Closing the festival is Johnny Brady and his band. Charismatic, talented and with a great live show, Johnny Brady brings his energetic A-game to Killala to close a great few days of festivities festival. Doors open 10pm, admission €15 on arrival. Late bar.
