Atlantic Rhythm Productions presents a traditional Irish cultural show, ‘Saoirse na hÉireann’- Isle of Hope. The energetic cast perform a storyline which includes the events of 1916 and immigration in the West of Ireland, with three world champion Irish dancers in the cast. The show highlights main characters Peggy and Cáit story, presenting a truly magical story from the Ireland of long ago.
This show has already been performed to many groups including an American Tour group from Mississippi, where a standing ovation was received on opening night. Parts of the show will be performed at the Jackie Clarke Library on Heritage Day (Wednesday 13th July) during the Ballina Salmon Festival.
Saoirse na hÉireann takes place on Wednesday 27th July, starting at 8pm in Enniscoe courtyard, Crossmolina. This will be the only performance of the whole show in North Mayo this July, so don’t miss out! Traditional Irish tea and scones will also be served on the night.
