Seachtain na Gaeilge (Irish Language Week) is an international Irish language festival and one of the biggest celebrations of ár dteanga dúchais (our native language) and cultúr (culture) that takes place each year in Ireland and in many other countries around the world.
The festival gives an opportunity to everyone to enjoy Irish, whether you are a fluent speaker, learner or have a cúpla focal (couple of words), with a calendar of entertaining and fun events for every type of interest and every age group.
As part of Seachtain na Gaeilge at the Jackie Clarke Collection, the Collection is offering free of charge the use of their “Audio Guides” in Irish to any person who wishes to self-guide themselves around the Collection trí Ghaeilge (through Irish).
This offering is available from Tuesday 13th of March until Friday the 16th March from 10am – 5pm daily. For further information contact the Collection on 096 73508 or email aforbes@mayococo.
