The Swinford Indoor Country Market takes place in Swinford Cultural Centre and Meeting Room on the first Saturday of every month.
Each month, the market offers a wide variety of produce, from fresh fruit & veg, local honey, breads, jams, preserves, chutneys, herbs, scrumptious home baking, cheeses and olives.
It also offers fresh flower and silk flower arrangements, crafts, sewing, quilting, crochet, knitting, flowers, bulbs, exotic & unusual plants, homespun wool, soaps, jewellery of all types, greeting cards andloads more. All goods are displayed proudly against the backdrop of this beautiful and historic building, formerly the Swinford railway station.
Live entertainment provided by local musicians serves to further enhance the atmosphere and the Railway Café, serves teas, coffees and a selection of other mouthwatering treats, and this event as well as being an enjoyable community day out, is a great opportunity to support local suppliers and buy homemade and homegrown products.
Doors open at 9:30am and the market lasts until 2pm but patrons are advised to come early to avoid disappointment.
