Ballina, Co. Mayo – One of Ballina’s best-loved venues, Paddy Mac’s, has officially been named a finalist in the 2025 Bar of the Year Awards, securing a place in the highly competitive People’s Choice Award – Best Bar in Connacht/Ulster category.
This year’s awards attracted a record-breaking 1,000+ entries from across the country. After months of rigorous assessment and deliberation, only the finest bars made it through as finalists. This places Paddy Mac’s firmly among Ireland’s top-tier hospitality venues.
Organisers of the Bar of the Year Awards described this year’s competition as the most competitive to date, saying:

For the team at Paddy Mac’s, the nomination is a huge honour as well as being a proud moment for the whole community.
