The Ballina Fringe Festival committee are delighted to announce that it’s Contemporary Art Fair will return from the 26–28 February, bringing together an exciting showcase of work by talented local and regional artists. The fair will be a vibrant celebration of local creativity and a vital fundraiser for the Festival which will return in October.
The fair will launch with a special Opening Night celebration from 7pm on 26 February in the Gallery at the Ballina Civic office. It will be a chance to meet artists, connect with fellow arts enthusiasts and enjoy a lively evening of creativity and conversation.
Following a highly successful fair last year, the art fair takes its place again this year as an important fundraiser for Ballina Fringe Festival. All artworks will be sold on a 50/50 basis, with 50% of proceeds going to the artist and 50% supporting the Ballina Fringe Festival’s programme of events and community initiatives.
The Festival team has expressed deep gratitude to the artists who have stepped forward. “We are immensely thankful to the artists who have shown such generosity and belief in Ballina Fringe Festival. Their willingness to share their incredibly creative and talented work in support of this fundraiser speaks volumes about the strength and spirit of our artistic community.”
