Belderrig Bronze Man – now in its 11th year will take place at Belderrig harbour. Registration is from 10:30am with the first race at 11am. Food will be served by the pier. Afterwards there will be a children’s sports day which will be held on the grounds of the former national school. The awards ceremony will be held in Belderrig Community Centre from 9:30pm. The Community Centre will also be showing the Mayo v Donegal match.
On the second night of Healyfest 2019 Brónagh McHale and Niamh Langan are two young local musicians, fusing together their unique styles and bringing with them some classics and oldies for everyone to enjoy! Both have previously played solo gigs at events such as Ballina Salmon Festival, Other Voices Live and The Jackie Clarke Collection summer stage!
On the third day/night of Healyfest
Dublin Rock ‘n’ Roll band Madra will take to the main stage. Madra’s original music is influenced by the rock music of the 60s and 70s like the who and thin lizzy but also modern bands like foo fighters and white stripes.
Other musicians performing throughout the Healyfest weekend include Hugsie and Emma Cotter, Rebecca McRedmond and Dan & Dylan. Head over to Healy’s Bar Facebook Page for more details.
