Céide Glamping is a family run business situated along the Wild Atlantic Way on the Céide Coast. A hidden gem just outside Ballycastle Co. Mayo, the pods are in a beautiful setting with spectacular views of Downpatrick Head. Established in 2021 they have 6 luxury Glamping pods all with amazing views of the coast out into the Atlantic.
The Pods
Each pod consists of a bedroom with a double bed and ensuite bathroom with towels and toiletries provided. They also all have a sitting / dining room consisting of a sofa bed and kitchenette with electric hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, pans, utensils, dishes and cutlery. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk, jam and butter is provided. Electric heating makes it warm and comfortable anytime of the year and a smart TV and free Wi-Fi will keep the whole family entertained whilst not off exploring all that this stunning part of North mayo has to offer.
There are also communal areas consisting of an indoor BBQ and lounge with plenty of sofas and comfortable seating to relax on when the weather isn’t at its best.
A great base for visiting the local attractions, such as Céide Fields & Downpatrick Head or any number of the stunning beaches located along this part of the coast. For those wanting to participate in water activities, Céide Glamping has direct private access to the water on site. Located only 500m from Killerduff Pier it is perfect for swimming, surfing, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkelling and fishing. You can also enjoy walks along the Céide Coast taking in the natural beauty of the surrounding area. Or just take time to relax and unwind on the patio and enjoy the breathtaking views.
