The forth annual Connacht Battle for the Paddle hosted by Harbour Sup & Sail, runs over the weekend May 5th – 6th 2018 and takes place in various locations around North Mayo and West Sligo, including Enniscrone, Ballina and Killala.
Stand-up Paddling is really growing in popularity in the area with boards visible on the River Moy and near the pier in Enniscrone nearly every day, especially during the summer months. It’s a wonderful way to see the area from a different vantage point and anyone can do it!
The Connacht Battle for the Paddle is a great fun event that also brings out the competition in people so be sure to come along to take part or even just watch!
Connacht Battle for the Paddle events include:
Distance race open class 3-7km
Technical sprint open class 2-4km
Surf Sup event ladies/men’s open
This event is not to be missed with BBQ food and entertainment throughout the weekend!
