Crossmolina’s Nephin Festival 2025 begins in just four weeks time and the countdown is officially on for one of Mayo North’s most beloved summer celebrations. Excitement is building for the return of this vibrant, community-driven event, which will take place from Wednesday 16th to Sunday 20th July 2025.
This year, organisers are delighted to bring back the full five-day programme of family-friendly fun, blending well-loved favourites with fresh new additions. The festival is a highlight in the Mayo North calendar and promises something for all ages and interests.
A Night to Remember – Ruaile Buaile Live
Music has always been central to the Nephin Festival, and 2025 will be no exception. While the entertainment has been streamlined to focus on one standout evening of live music, it promises to be an unforgettable experience. Crowd favourites Ruaile Buaile return to the Upper Deck on Friday 18th July, following a hugely popular performance last year. Known for their high-energy sets of twisted trad and contemporary classics, they’re sure to be one of the liveliest nights of the festival.

A Grand Finale – The Big Drama Night
New for 2025 is an immersive theatrical experience to bring the festival to a close. The Big Drama Night will take place on Sunday 20th July, featuring a cast of over 40 performers. This unique event invites the audience to become part of the story, as drama unfolds around them in the heart of a bustling Irish pub – The Hairy Hound. Expect laughter, intrigue, and plenty of surprises as Crossmolina’s local talent brings the stage to life in unforgettable fashion.
