Ballycroy Celebrates Mayo Day 2026 on Saturday, May 2nd with day full of events in both Ballycroy Community Centre and Ballycroy Visitors Centre.

12.30pm to 2pm: Mixies Brixies Lego Workshop – Session 1.
2.30pm to 4.30pm: Mixies Brixies Lego Workshop Session 2.
All afternoon: Duplo Play area open throughout for younger children.

Ballycroy Visitors Centre Events
9:00am: The Mayo Dawn Chorus – guided walk and birdwatching experience.
11:30am to 1:00pm: Guided Pond Dipping – life in a Mayo pond.
2:00pm to 4:00pm: Native Trees of Mayo Workshop – learn about our native trees and take home a free oak tree.
All Day: Mayo Day Treasure Hunt – self guided trail and fun games at the visitors centre.
