Visit an Enchanted Woodland for an after-dark experience of:
- Nocturnal Wildlife
- Storytelling
- Night-time Navigation
- Night-sky Heritage and Stargazing (if weather permits)
Terra Firma team leaders are qualified to lead groups at night and for outdoor education and experienced tour guides.
The aim of the evening is to explore our nocturnal environment with fun and safe activities and if weather conditions permit, we will explore the night sky above too!
This is a FREE event in collaboration with GMIT, Healthy Ireland and CYPSC, however, registration is essential in advance to secure a place as numbers are limited.

DRESS
Please dress very warmly with hats, gloves, coats and wellies for kids (they will venture off trail!). Bring a hot flask & snack for children.
Hi-Viz vests. Preferably soft light lanterns or red torches (please avoid head torches with bright white lights!)
Terra Firma recommend face masks and for attendees to bring their own hand sanitizers. Please note that we will limit event numbers, however, it is your personal responsibility to keep socially distant and remain in your own bubble, and following current COVID guidelines.
