Cathal will talk about the 1927 Inishkea storm, a tragedy that changed island life forever.
He’ll also introduce his new online weather service, offering accurate local forecasts and insights into Ireland’s changing climate.
3:00 PM – Book Launch with Brian Dornan
Brian launches Mayo’s Wild Atlantic Islands: The Inishkeas, exploring 4,000 years of island history from archaeology to community life.
The launch will be introduced by Professor Emeritus Paddy Duffy.
