Halloween at Wild Nephin National Park, a fun packed program of free events, from Sat 28th to Mon 30th October running from Ballycroy Visitors Centre.
The fun begins at 12pm on Saturday the 28th of October with an Creative craft event “printing onto Denim and Re-Loved fabric” (materials are supplied) with Creative Curator Ciaran Elizabeth Doran. *Please note places must be booked and are limited for this event*. Sunday the 29th Bog Detectives are needed to solve a scary crime that took place at the pond. Look for clues and help their guide Robin solve the mystery. This events runs from 11am until 4pm (no booking required).
On Monday the 30th we will enjoy some old tradition Halloween games as well as some family favorite board games. This is a drop in event no booking required and runs from 11am until 4pm,
Over the weekend there will also be guided walks, with some scary stories from around the National Park and Nephin Beg Mountains, from 4pm as the sun starts to set behind Achill Island as the Park becomes the Mayo Dark Skies Park. These guided walks will run Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
