Explore the gardens and woodland to see if you can find Scarecrow Jack hiding in the trees!
Pick up a free trail map at Museum Reception and follow the Halloween trail inspired by the Irish folk legend of Jack of the Lantern – a man so mean and stingy he was turned away from heaven and barred from hell, doomed to wander the night forever with only his glowing turnip lantern to light the way.
Search the grounds to uncover all of Scarecrow Jack’s hiding places. When you’ve found them all, return your completed trail map to Museum Reception to be entered into a free draw for a spooktacular Halloween hamper.
This is a free, self-guided activity, perfect for families looking for a fun and seasonal outdoor adventure during the Halloween holidays.
