The film, which is based on historic facts, tells the true and shocking story of the slaughter of 3,000 Scots, including half of them women and children, by Sir Richard Bingham and the English army in Ardnaree on 23rd September 1586.
Following the screening, a Question and Answer session will be held to address any queries from the audience on this enormously significant event, which changed the course of history for Mayo, Connacht, and Ireland.
