The Irish Folk Music School have a new program of introductory workshops starting in September at Glenisland N.S. These are taster sessions, designed for complete beginners and/or musicians who would like to have a go at a new instrument.
Try your hand at either the harp, bodhrán or drums in a friendly and welcoming environment. The term is 4 Thursdays throughout September with small group classes lasting 45 mins,
Small group classes of 45 minutes and the whole course is just €50.
The whole course is just €50 with all the instruments being provided by the school, and of course tea/coffee and buns too.
