Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival returns to celebrate its 35th year. Running from Saturday 6th to the highlight of the festival, the Old Fair Day on Wednesday 10th August.

The festival Chair Tony O’Brien, noted that the voluntary committee has worked tirelessly trying to organise an event that has something for everyone to enjoy. Tubbercurry Old Fair Day

The five-day festival carries on the tradition of the fair day of years past. Their showcase event takes place on Wednesday, 10th August, the Old Fair Day. It is a treasure trove of activities. From our demonstrators in our heritage and craft village, showcasing traditions from bygone days of the fair, artisan stalls, vintage displays, animals and live music with Declan Nerney and his band. Expect a dazzling range of unique products displaying high quality craftmanship to tasty artisan foods. View traditional skills such as thatching, weaving, butter making, trashing, pottery making, rush work and much more. In addition, enjoy the funfair, a kid’s zone, and over a hundred trade stands dotted throughout the town.

A fun filled festival awaits you in Tubbercurry. Murray’s funfair and music in the pubs nightly to finish off the evening. A festival where old and new friends alike can meet and savour the hospitality Tubbercurry offers.
