Tweed Weekend of Woolcraft with Killala Woolcraft - Visit North Mayo

Tweed Weekend of Woolcraft with Killala Woolcraft

For this three day workshop participants will be focusing on making tweed effect yarn and weaving your own tweed scarf.

Each day starts at 10am and finishes around 4pm.

Design, card, blend and learn how to spin your own yarn on a traditional spinning wheel with 100% Irish wool and alpaca.

Finish the weekend by warping a Rigid Heddle Loom and weaving your very own scarf with the yarn you have spun.

All of Killala Woolcraft workshops are suitable for complete beginners.

All materials are provided with a delicious lunch each day at the world famous Mary’s Cottage Kitchen included.

This workshop costs €240 per person. Booking is essential. Please email killala.woolcraft@gmail.com to save your space.
