The Grainne Uaile Sub Aqua Club to Host Western Dive Rally 2026 in Kilcummin, North Mayo
The Grainne Uaile Sub Aqua Club and Search & Recovery Unit is once again set to welcome diving enthusiasts from across Ireland to the Western Dive Rally 2026. This year’s event takes place from Friday, 7th August to Sunday, 9th August at Kilcummin Pier, North Mayo (Eircode: F26 C7D2).
The rally will showcase North Mayo’s stunning coastline. It is widely regarded as offering some of the best scuba diving, snorkelling and freediving experiences in the country. Visitors can look forward to a weekend of spectacular underwater exploration, camaraderie, and activities for all water lovers. “If you’ve been to a rally before, you’ll know it’s a must-attend event,” said the organising team. “If it’s your first time, prepare to discover new dive sites, make great connections. Experience an unforgettable part of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.”
Important Notes for Divers:
– All divers must register online via Just Go and pay the registration fee
– Active diver certification and insurance are required
– Please provide diver grades to ensure correct buddy pairing and depth ability for boat dives
– All divers are required to wear lifejackets
– The Western Dive Rally is not only about diving. It is about connecting with fellow – Diving Ireland members, discovering a spectacular stretch of coastline, and enjoying a shared passion for the sea.
