There will be a weekend of free events organized by Wild Nephin Park to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Mayo Dark Sky Park on the May Bank Holiday Weekend (2nd-4th May 2026).
Saturday 2nd May
Join Space Reporter and Adventurer Dr.Niamh Shaw at the W cinema, Westport for a ‘Reflections on Artemis II’ Talk. Event is free, but booking essential HERE.
Sunday 3rd May
Join Dr.Niamh Shaw at Ballycroy Visitor Centre for a ‘Space and Sustainability’ talk, as part of the Mayo Dark Sky anniversary celebrations and Mayo Day.
Drop in events throughout the day including music, dance, science, film circus and arts.
Community Constellations Special Launch event and 10th Birthday reception at 4pm.
Monday 4th May

1pm- Louise Beer, Artist in Residence (Talk)-‘Earth, a Cosmic Spectacle’.
