Mayo Beer Festival Set to End the Summer on a High Note
10th Annual Yeast Meets West Craft Beer Festival returns to Ballina
Summer 2025 is drawing to a close, but before it does, Ballina will raise a glass one final time as the 10th Annual Yeast Meets West Craft Beer Festival takes place this Saturday, 30th August, in the Dr Kathleen Lynn Courtyard, located behind Hogan’s Bar.
Running from 1pm ‘til late, the festival promises an unforgettable day of music, food and – of course – some of the finest craft brews Ireland has to offer.
Beer enthusiasts can look forward to pours from acclaimed Irish breweries including Lough Gill Brewing, Mescan Brewery, Reel Deel Brewing Co., Seven Virtues Lager, Achill Lager, as well as favourites like Black Wave Irish Stout, Lost Armada, Hop Dog, Jack the Lad, Tiny Rebel and Third Barrel – each bringing their own unique flavours to the taps.
Food lovers won’t be left out, with The Pizza Pod Mayo serving up fresh slices from 1pm, alongside street food favourites like Holy Moly Guacamole and more.
As the evening sets in, live music will keep the atmosphere buzzing. River Ratz take the stage from 6pm – 8pm with their high-energy sound and good-time vibes, followed by DJ Nick, spinning tunes from 10.30pm ‘til late to close out the summer in style.
“Yeast Meets West has become a much-loved staple of Ballina’s festival calendar,” said organisers. “This year marks a milestone with our 10th edition, and we’re looking forward to welcoming both seasoned craft beer fans and first-timers for what promises to be an incredible day.”
