Come embrace the spirit of summer and celebrate the Gardens of Mayo at the event “April showers bring May flowers” at North Mayo Heritage Centre from 1st May to 2nd June 2019. During these weeks of growing abundance and colour in the garden, visitors are invited to celebrate some of the unique Gardens of Mayo including hommages to those at Westport House (Westport), the National Museum of Country Life (Turlough, Castlebar), on Achill Island, and at Enniscoe House (Crossmolina).

County Mayo hosts one of Ireland’s six national parks –  the Ballycroy National Park, located near the village of Ballycroy. The event will also explore some of the unique aspects of the flora at this location.

The beautiful heritage garden at Enniscoe House on the grounds of the North Mayo Heritage Centre hosts the event “April showers bring May flowers” – which promises to be a delight if you are passionate about blooms, flowers and all things horticulture.

Organised with Mayo County Council, National Botanic Gardens, Enniscoe House, private collectors and the people of North Mayo.
