Heffernan’s bakers and confectioners are in early each morning, baking bread, making deserts and cakes. Heffernan’s make a range of ‘occasion’ cakes, but if you a specialist theme in mind, they can make a cake that fits right in.
Anthony Heffernan sources all his meat from local farmers in North Mayo. He hand picks every single animal before they are delivered directly to Heffernan’s fully licensed abattoir. Here they are culled, prepared, dry aged and stored to the “Heffernan’s Fine Food Standard”. Anthony has won Hygiene Award for his abattoir and supplies all meat to the Heffernan’s Fine Foods. Butcher’s is open daily with the freshest selection of the best cuts available.
