After a morning of exploration you’ll be left with a hunger for something filling, and the café will not disappoint. With freshly caught seafood, hot and cold sandwiches, soup and salads there will be something to satisfy everyone’s hunger.

The team at Jack Fenn’s Café & Bistro have a passion for food. They source and use the finest local, seasonal ingredients. Along side a wide selection of herbs, salad leaves, fruit and vegetables picked from the castle kitchen garden. They even keep their own bees for delicious local honey!

The food isn’t the only thing you’ll marvel at in the Jack Fenn’s Café & Bistro – the setting also makes for a great experience. Situated in the old stable buildings adjacent to the Castle, in this intimate but quirky space, lovingly created by Lilly, working with local tradesmen, many of the materials have been beautifully repurposed to create an environment that reflects both the history of the castle and the Wild Atlantic landscape in which we live.

And of course there is the story of Jack Fenn the smuggler, who got himself into a tight spot …once upon a time, Jack bought a passport from an Irishman called Marshall Doran and bought himself a castle!
