Explore the Céide Coast with Two Thrilling Routes

The Céide Coast Atlantic Run offers participants two exhilarating options: a 10 kilometer run or a half-marathon. Both routes promise unparalleled views and a memorable journey through the picturesque Céide Coast and beyond.

The 10k race starts at Céide Fields Visitor Centre, then follows the stunning Céide Coast to Ballycastle. This year, the route extends to Ballycastle village before joining the half marathon course to the beach. After a right turn near R314, runners re-join the half marathoners, finishing at Ballycastle Community Hall with refreshments.

Meanwhile, the half-marathon route will also start from the Céide Fields Visitor Centre, treating participants to scenic views as they pass by Ballycastle Beach and onward to the renowned Downpatrick Head to view the Dun Briste Sea Stack- one of the signature points along the Wild Atlantic Way (weather dependent).

Upon completing the race, participants can enjoy post-race refreshments at the community hall. Each participant will also receive a uniquely designed medal and souvenir tech top as a token of their achievement.
