Located on Main Street, Ballycastle and built in the 1800’s, this building housing Mary’s Cottage Kitchen still holds many stunning traditional features including the stone wall exterior, open loft, exposed beams, flag floors and a quaint open fire.
Against this charming backdrop, customers can expect tasty home-cooked food prepared by proprietor Mary Munnelly herself. Mary’s Cottage Kitchen boasts a delicious range of home-made soups including mushroom, vegetable, carrot & coriander and smoked bacon & potato. Other dishes include smoked salmon, quiches, paninis, salads and much more, all served up with freshly made brown bread and some seasonal jams.
For those with a sweet tooth, Mary’s Cottage Kitchen has a range of baked treats such as apple or rhubarb tart, lemon meringue, chocolate chip cookies, cheesecake and fruit scones.
Mary also prepares a range of homemade preserves including chutneys, jams and marmalades, all of which are available to buy in this cosy restaurant.
