The objective of Mayo North Tourism is to develop and promote the area collaboratively as a tourist destination. Our work is proudly supported by the following bodies and businesses:

The Ballina Muncipal District and Councillors
Mayo County Council (via the Ballina Municipal District and Councillors) supports the work of Mayo North Tourism by providing funding to cover basic operational costs. The allocated budget of €35,000 annually covers a portion of staffing costs and operational expenses.

Moy Valley Resources IRD
is a community development company, established in 1991 to facilitate the economic and social development of the Moy Valley Region in North Mayo and West Sligo. Moy Valley Resources IRD is currently contracted to administer the Mayo North Tourism office, and also makes an annual contribution to the running costs of the office.

Ballina Chamber of Commerce and Tourist Office
Ballina Chamber operates Ballina Tourist Office, and supports Mayo North in the planning and organisation of events throughout the year. Mayo North also avails of an office in the town centre “Tourism Hub” on Pearse St, which also houses Ballina Chamber, Ballina Tourist Office and Ballina Salmon Festival.
