Ballycastle, Co. Mayo – April 18, 2025 – Runners, adventurers, and nature lovers take note — registration is now officially open for the Céide Coast Atlantic Run, a breathtaking Half Marathon and 10K event set against the rugged beauty of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. The race hosted by Ballycastle Athletics Club will take place on Saturday, 20th September 2025, starting from the iconic Céide Fields Visitor Centre in Ballycastle, Co. Mayo.
This unique race invites participants to run through some of the most spectacular coastal scenery Ireland has to offer. The route includes dramatic views from the Céide Cliffs, the peaceful sands of Ballycastle Beach, and the striking sea stack at Downpatrick Head — all while challenging themselves over two stunning race distances.
