The Seaview Lounge, Ballycastle
The Seaview Lounge is located in the village of Ballycastle in the Céide Coast, north Mayo. It is a family run business, in existence for over forty years on the Wild Atlantic Way. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Downpatrick Head where legend has it that St. Patrick banished the snakes out of Ireland. The lounge and shop is located only 5 kilometres from the famous 5,000-year-old neolithic site Céide Fields, and is home to the newly installed ATM in Ballycastle, Co. Mayo.
Relaxing environment:
Enjoy a relaxed drink at the well-known Lounge Bar where you will be assured of a warm welcome. If, perhaps, time is limited, and you must see all of this wonderful and breathtaking North Mayo Coast then a quick snack from our hot and cold deli with coffee or maybe an ice-cream cone to go will leave you full and content to continue on your journey.
The bar is blessed with old charm combined with modern facilities. There’s a quiet beer garden available to customers to bask in the sunshine. The Seaview Lounge can cater for all types of functions and events and has held many a celebration down the years.
McNamee’s XL
McNamee’s also run the ‘XL’ grocery store next door (the same premises ) – in 2019 the store was the Winner of 2019 Gold Retailing Standard Award.There is a mini-forecourt to the front of the premises also.
