Our national holiday is fast approaching and we’ve put together a guide to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade’s taking place across the region. Do keep an eye on this post as we’ll update it when new parades come in!
Ballina at 4:30pm
Ballina’s St. Patrick’s Day parade plans are underway as the organizers look forward to bringing the streets alive again on 17th March 2023 from 4:30pm. Ballina also celebrates its tercentenary year, marking 300 years since the formal establishment of the town. It will honour the past, celebrate the present and inspire hope for the future, throughout 2023.This is the theme of Ballina’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade – ‘Ballina 2023‘, taking inspiration form the past, the present and future of Ballina.

Ballycastle (Cancelled)
Ballycastle St. Patrick’s Day Parade for 2023 has been cancelled due to bereavements in the locality.

Bangor Erris from 12:30pm/1:00pm
Bangor Erris St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place March 17th following 11:30am Mass commencing circa 12:30pm/1:00pm at the complex.
There will be first, second and third place prizes for best floats on the day. There will also be a prize for best machinery.

Belmullet at 3:00pm
Belmullet St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on March 17th from 3:00pm. Irish dancing from 2:30pm at Carter Square.

Crossmolina Electric Light Parade at 7:30pm
Celebrate St. Patrick’s weekend in Crossmolina, lots of music and entertainment plus the Electric Light Parade on March 17th at 7:30pm.

‘Three Village Parade’ Enniscrone, Easkey and Dromore West
This year’s ‘Three Village’ St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be on Friday 17th March starting at: Enniscrone at 1:00pm, Easkey at 3:00pm and Dromore West at 4:00pm.

Swinford at 3:00pm
Swinford will once again this year celebrate their St. Patrick’s Day Parade. They are one of the longest running parades in Ireland. Through contemporary and traditional acts, culture and heritage, the parade will connect families, friends and communities.

Binghamstown at 1.30pm
Cairde An Geata Mór proudly presents The Binghamstown St. Patrick’s Day Themed Parade 2023 on Friday 17th March at 1.30pm.

Eachléim Parade at 12 noon
The Eachléim St. Patricks Day Parade kicks off at 12 noon, and all are welcome

Advise from organising committees
The advise from organising committees is to get there early and follow the advice of stewards in regard to parking and diversions.
In relation to the weather forecast, a mix of cloudy and some sunny spells with showers are promised. The showers will be heavy and prolonged at times with a chance of thunderstorms. Highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees in mostly moderate south to southeast winds, decreasing light later.
