Members of Teach and Uisce Sub-Aqua and Recovery Club will attempt to swim the River Moy from the Ridgepool to The Quay where the river meets the estuary on Sunday, May 31st 2020 at 2pm. Proceeds of the swim will go to the Order of Malta Ballina Ambulance Corps
The Ballina unit of the Order of Malta was founded on 31st Auguts 1941. The unit has been providing a fast range of vital services to the people of Ballina and surrounding areas including youth development, first-aid training, community care, patient transfers and ambulance and first-aid cover.
During the current Covid-19 pandemic like many community and voluntry groups the Ballina Order of Malta have gone beyond the call of duty.
