Registration is open for The Wild Atlantic 10-miler race - Sun August 18th - Visit North Mayo

The 6th annual Wild Atlantic 10-Miler race is scheduled to take place in Ballina on Sunday, August 18th, 2024, at 11:00 AM, and Mayo North Tourism is proud to sponsor this event once again.

Hosted by Ballina Athletic Club and AAI approved, every runner in the race will receive a bespoke medal to remember your day, and the first 200 registered will receive a technical t-shirt!  The race is also chipped and timed. There are cash prizes and trophies for the first three male & female runners home, as well as a cash prize if you’re quick enough to break the course record!

The race starts on Belleek Castle Road and commences at 11.00am and finishes at Ballina A.C. Take in some magnificent views along the River Moy through Belleek Woods and the Monasteries of the Moy Greenway. A relatively flat course making it ideal for runners new to the 10 mile distance. For those who wish to simply enjoy a friendly and scenic race this is the perfect course! The Wild Atlantic 10-miler is the perfect distance for those athletes preparing for longer races later in the year. The race gains in popularity year on year and there will be a large turnout on the day.
