The second Wild Atlantic 10-Miler race will take place in Ballina on Sunday 26th August 2018 at 11.00 am.
Hosted by Ballina Athletic Club and AAI approved, every runner in the race will receive a bespoke medal to remember your day, and the first 150 registered will receive a technical t-shirt! The race is also chipped and timed. There are prizes for the first three male & female runners home.
The race distance, course and timing also fits nicely with those training for the 2018 Dublin Marathon and a large turnout is expected on the day.
The race route is located in Ballina Town and commences at 11.00am, and is a fantastic route taking in some magnificent views of the Wild Atlantic Way. It’s also relatively flat and picturesque making it ideal for runners new to the 10 mile distance and for those who wish to simply enjoy a friendly and scenic race! Participants on the day can expect exceptional hospitality, not only in terms of the post-event spread but also with the renowned local support encouraging runners along the route. If you let us know what club you hail from you might even see a sign encouraging you along the way!
Every runner receives a complimentary technical t-shirt and medal to remember your day. The race is also chipped and timed. We have prizes for the first 3 male & female runners home.
We want to extend a warm welcome to all participants entering the Ballina A.C “Wild Atlanic 10 Mile” Road Race on August 25th, and thank you for choosing our race,
We can’t wait to welcome you to Ballina and North Mayo – see you then!
